Select a View
The LIO Internet Map Browser System uses predefined Views. Each View contains a set of data layers from the Ontario Land Information Warehouse. These are chosen by a View designer to provide information pertinent to a particular topic.
The following alphabetical list includes all Views to which you have access.
BBA PDF Download: This view shows various sampling units for Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas, including 100km Atlas Blocks, Atlas Regions, 10km Atlas Squares, and randomly selected point count locations for collecting abundance data. Topographic features are shown in the background and the view contains a utility for downloading/printing PDF maps of each Atlas Square.
Bear Management Areas: Information relating to bear management on Crown land
Define Polygon: LIDS select polygon View
Fish Species in Waterbodies: Locations of fifteen (15) species of fish occurring in lakes, rivers, streams, and creeks.
Furbearer Management: Trapline areas and information related to furbearers.
Moose Management: Biological information related to moose management.
Topographic Features: Landscape features, including Ontario Base Map information.
Wind Power Allocation: A View for selecting Wind Power Allocation Blocks
To use this application, you must be using Netscape Communicator version 4.5 or higher, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher.
